what has happened; has everything descended into gray, are we sliding into that deep vastness and sinking to the depths of the Mariana trench or are you holding us in suspense for the color in acknowledgment that in the northern parts of the world (away from the coasts) they are seeing winter and (the groundhog says) must wait several more weeks until they even think of spring?
